    Deeksha Vats

    Deeksha is a Sustainability Professional with 3 decades of work experience in Consulting and Corporate set-ups. She is currently the Group Chief Sustainability Officer for the Aditya Birla Group (ABG), where she drives the sustainable business transformation agenda across all its locations on Strategic, Operational, Communication and Advocacy aspects of Sustainability. Prior to this at ABG, she led the sustainability agenda at group flagship Metals and Mining business, Hindalco Industries Limited. At Hindalco, she worked across geographies, functions and aspects towards mainstreaming sustainability in the business. This was a follow-up to her role where she led the environmental sustainability agenda at Aditya Birla Group on topics of Climate Change, Energy Transition, Water, Waste, Emissions and Biodiversity.     Vince Guercio

    Mr. Vince Guercio has a chemical engineering degree and over 50 years’ experience in the international petrochemical, petroleum and natural gas businesses. For the past 40 years, he has been an independent consultant providing commercial and technical advice about the interactions that occur at the refinery/LPG/petrochemical interfaces. He specializes in the utilization of steam cracker byproducts such as butadiene, C5s and carbon black oil (CBO). Due to his ethylene byproducts experience, in 1982 Vince became heavily involved in carbon black feedstock from naphtha crackers, FCCs and coal tar. Since then, he has offered consulting services in the pricing, marketing, evaluation and acquisition of CBO. Since 1988, he has published the CBO Monitor which provides reliable market intelligence about worldwide CBO and carbon black. Vince was educated by Catholic University of America, Princeton University and the U.S. Army. His corporate experience includes Mobil Oil, Lummus and Foster Wheeler.

    C P Natarajan

    C.P. Natarajan, with graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras & University of Pittsburgh, joined American Schack Company (later ALSTOM Power Energy Recovery, Arvos) in1974 and developed High Temperature Air Preheaters & Energy Recovery Systems. He organized Schack Carbon Black Conferences in USA (1996, 1998, and 2000). He retired as President of ALSTOM Power Energy Recovery, USA in 2001 and started GANPADS, providing consulting services on Industrial Energy Recovery & Emissions Abatement (Carbon Black production & Petroleum Coke Calcination) From the first Carbon Black world conference in 1993 till the Carbon Black World conference in 2021, Natarajan made presentations at Carbon Black World, Carbon Black Asia Pacific and Carbon Black China conferences. Carbon Black Asia Pacific presented him with LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in 2003 and STAR AWARD IN ENERGY RECOVERY RESEARCH in 2017. In 2017, he was awarded US Patent 9540518, “APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR AIR PREHEATER WITHOUT QUENCH IN CARBON BLACK PRODUCTION”

    Mr. P.K. Mohamed stands out as a preeminent authority in the tire industry, celebrated for his profound expertise in carbon black technology. As the former Chief Advisor for Research and Development at Apollo Tyres Limited in India, Mr. Mohamed has been the architect of innovation, steering the industry towards a sustainable and robust future. Mr. Mohamed's contributions extend beyond his corporate role. As a Fellow Member of the Rubber and Plastic Institute, London, he has been a prolific contributor to the body of knowledge, authoring numerous research papers that have advanced our understanding of tire development and testing. The Rubber Technology Centre, IIT Kharagpur, India, recognized his exceptional talent by conferring upon him the title of 'Best Tyre Technologist' in March 2013. More recently, at the 10th edition of the Global Sustainability Leadership Awards 2023, he was honored as the 'Sustainability Professional of the Year,' a testament to his unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship in the tire industry. Mr P.K Mohamed - a tireless contributor to research, and a champion of sustainability will present paper on - Future-proofing of tyre industry- Critical development areas in carbon black Technology.
